If you’ve been reading my emails for a while, you know I’ve spent the last couple of years doing exactly what we’re all told to do to grow a business.

I pushed myself to be more visible. I showed up on LinkedIn. I followed the “right” marketing advice and tried to play the game.

And here is the most honest thing I can tell you:

It had no measurable impact on my business.

The truth is, the kind of growth I actually want — steady, grounded, and mutual — doesn’t come from online performance. It doesn’t come from being loud.

So I returned to what has always worked for me. I let trust, not tactics, guide the way. From that place, my business began to grow again — not in a frantic way, but in a steady, grounded way that feels like self-respect.
